Created from concept to launch by Jackie Fitzgerald, Homes or Houses has grown from a single property in August 2012, to in excess of 150 purchases on behalf of clients, based in Canada, the Gulf, South Africa and Australia. With a ratio of 56 clients to 150 properties, the client profile ranges from a single property investor through to sophisticated real estate investors with a portfolio of 12 properties.

Homes or Houses provides an enhanced service for property investors, based overseas, looking to purchase property in the UK. The service includes but is not limited to:

Full sourcing services, developed around the client’s specification of tenant type, property type and budget

Access to ’real' property information based on the location quality, 'actual' property condition and subsequent pricing

Access to the vendors themselves to understand the motivation behind the sale

Protection from competition from other buyers who are on the ground and have detailed information regards the above points

Coordination of all service providers including Estate Agents, Solicitors, Surveyors and Specialist Contractors and Tradesmen

Assisting with finance applications and all regulatory requirements

Availability to suit all time zones and working weeks around the globe, providing email and Skype access from 6am GMT to 9pm GMT over seven days

Managing all services in full compliance with ever-increasing rules and regulations surrounding private landlords

Full advice on UK tax liabilities relating specifically to UK property income and gains

The following exit strategies have been considered and approved by the Board of Directors:
