Firnas Airways will focus on a number of carefully selected routes with high levels of projected passenger growth.

Today, travellers on short- and medium-haul routes are faced with a stark choice – either fly with a low-cost, no-frills airline, or pay a significantly higher fare to travel with a full-service carrier which often offers little in the way of additional comfort or quality.

Firnas Airways will offer customers the best of both worlds – a full-service experience at an affordable price point.

Tearing up the Rulebook

#4: Firnas Airways will initially target unserved or underserved domestic and short-haul destinations, before expanding to a focussed number of long-haul routes
#5: Firnas Airways will deploy fuel-efficient aircraft that provide passengers with premium levels of comfort

Short-haul

Aircraft

For phase 1 of our launch, we will commence with Jetstream 31 aircraft along with ATR72-500 turboprop aircraft.
The ATR represents the cheapest option for our proposed routes and strategy in terms of operation and lease rates; up to 20% cheaper than other turboprop aircraft in the same category and 50% cheaper than the jet aircraft in the same category.

This cost-effectiveness will allow us to spend the savings on other important things such as marketing and passing the savings to our customers.

These aircraft are also amongst the most reliable aircraft in their category.

Routes

We are in a very good position and are negotiating with a number of airports to get deals that favour Firnas Airways including Route Exclusivity. Routes we are actively considering include: London (Homebase will be a regional secondary airport) to Edinburgh, Waterford, Belfast, Jersey, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Isle of Man, Amsterdam, Cologne.

We plan to expand to 8 routes during the initial 2 year period.

None of the above routes are currently being served despite their being demand. We are also continuing to assess the viability of other domestic and short-haul routes to finalise the routes be introduced during the initial stages of our growth.

Long-haul

Aircraft

For our expansion into long-haul operations, we will lease wide-body jets such as the Boeing 767 or Airbus A330 aircraft.


Routes

The initial routes which we plan to phase in during years 3-5 will be:

London to
Sylhet, Bangladesh
Kolkata, India
Accra, Ghana
Tehran, Iran
Islamabad, Pakistan
New York, USA

The above routes were identified as being underserved, all with great potential for direct services. New York and Delhi were selected as they are currently growing in market size by approximately 10% every year and can, therefore, sustain further airlines, especially with our service proposition.


We are raising £500,000 here on Eureeca. Below are some of the areas where we will deploy the funds.

    Investors could make a potential exit at the end of year 5 and we have identified the following avenues: we hope to achieve an ROI of 10 plus multiples of the original investment just on share price appreciation excluding any dividends over a five year period, whilst there is no exit plan until end of year 5, we still aim to be able to allow early-stage investors to exit between year 3 and 5.

    1. Management Buyout
    this is the option for the management to buy back shares from investors who
    wish to exit.

    2. Initial Public Offering (IPO)
    This is one of the best ways to exit a company as the investors will get a very
    good return on their investment by listing the company on one of the global
    stock exchanges.

    3. Acquisition
    We would explore options if we get any interest from any parties to acquire the
    company wholly at market valuation.

    4. Equity Partnership
    We will be open to equity partnership from other companies and airlines who
    may have a deep interest in a UK based airline. We have already had interest
    from major Middle Eastern and Chinese aviation conglomerates, these companies
    generally invest as strategic investors hence we cannot expect them to
    invest now. This is also a very good way to offload some shares at very good valuation whilst maintaining control of the company and this gives another opportunity to investors who wish to exit.
