As these players hold a substantial portion of tours and activities, digital channels and marketplaces are left with a limited supply and variety of offerings, skewing the consumer to book tours and activities through these travel professionals.

While 86% of these SME players are in favour of modernizing the user experience to boost online sales they are lagging behind in digitalization and adoption of emerging technologies due to the substantial upfront investment required. ***

Turpal is a Post Reservation Solution for Travel Professionals to manage their operation and increase their per-passenger profit.
When a passenger books any service with travel professionals, they will provide a real-time and Dynamic Itinerary for all the services that have been sold to passengers in the form of an App or web app, and passenger will receive their purchased itinerary such as hotel, flights, or transfer vouchers through this platform.

Turpal platform is a combination of
a. Smart interface on the passenger’s side that knows their itinerary to provide them with new recommendations;
b. and a channel manager of tour, activity and attraction, so the operator can promote their service or source from the channel.

The market size for the 3rd component of the Travel Industry which is Tours, Activities & Attractions is $254B and it is made up of highly fragmented operators.
Whilst the adoption of technology has sped up for flights and accommodation, the tours and activity sector market players still predominantly (70-80%) run in a traditional manner and offline.

Our serviceable market is ≃ 0.6% of the total addressable market: $254B*0.6%=$1.5B
Over 5 years we aim to expand Sales into 18 countries and 2000 clients

As an early-stage high-growth startup, we need to spend up to 40% of our budget on Sales & Marketing activities to achieve our targeted growth for the forecasted period.
Moreover, upfront investment supports us in building momentum and increasing adoption as price-sensitive operators are unwilling to commit to fixed-cost investments and our main source of revenue is from commission fees generated by sales on the platform.

We anticipate acquisition by major OTAs as our platform gets a comprehensive offering from a variety of local suppliers and buyer behaviour analytics making it an attractive purchase for OTAs who are looking to expand their offering of tours and activities without having to deal with contracting with each and every little supplier across key tourist destinations.
